Job Description The candidate selected for the position will, under the direction of the Superintendent, provide leadership in all aspects of the school’s operation. Responsibilities for the school site leader shall include, but not be restricted to the following: • implement a site-based, shared decision-making philosophy • provide support for teachers • develop staff leadership • provide curriculum leadership based on research and State Frameworks • instill partnership between students, teachers, parents and community • empower teachers and parents to fulfill school vision • be responsible and accountable for school learning climate • develop and maintain a positive school climate and high staff morale • provide quality communication Desirable Qualifications Desire to make the school the best it can be.
