Qualifications: Valid Clear California Administrative Credential. (Concurrent enrollment in a program to obtain the California Administrative Credential will be considered.) Master’s Degree desirable. Administrative experience is desirable. Minimum five years of experience teaching in regular education, special education, psychological services, or school administration. Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, communication, and human relation skills. Demonstrate competence in communicating effectively with staff, district personnel, members of the general public, and representatives of other local, state and federal agencies. Must possess a valid Class C California driver license and have TB clearance. Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at a cost of $62 to the employee

Under the general direction of the Superintendent, responsible for providing leadership and oversight in the implementation of a comprehensive MTSS model with equal focus on academic and behavioral supports; serving as the District Lead for PBIS; providing support to site personnel in the operation and compliance of Special Education programs and services in conformation to District and State objectives; communicating to staff, the public and other districts; providing leadership in the
development, implementation, and monitoring of special education, 504’s, and other pupil service programs; assuring proper compliance is maintained to ensure achievement of site, district, state and federal program objectives; providing written support and/or conveying information; serving as a
resource to other school personnel, the Board, and other districts; providing support in the Special Education Information System (SEIS); providing assistance to site administrators to ensure that site staff are monitoring student attendance and/or behavioral issues and making appropriate
recommendations.
Hours of Employment:
Full-Time (196 day/work year)
Eight (8) hrs. per day, Monday – Friday
