Important Dates: •Tentative Panel Interview Date-During the week of July 16, 2018. •Tentative Final Interview Date-During the week of July 23, 2018. BASIC FUNCTIONS: Under the direct supervision of the Superintendent, this Cabinet level position is responsible for the departments that provide programs and services for all students (Child Development Programs, Teaching and Learning, Student Services and Special Education). Oversees curriculum development, program planning and implementation, assessment and evaluation, state and federal testing, and state and federal regulations pertaining to students with disabilities, English Learners, Foster and Homeless Youth, Socio-economically disadvantaged students. Oversees the design, coordination and implementation of a District-wide professional learning continuum. Directs, supervises, and evaluates the work of District level administration including but not limited to Coordinators, Directors, and Executive Director.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education: •Possession of Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required. •Possession of Ed. D. or Ph. D. is preferred. •Valid Clear Multiple, Single or Pupil Personnel Services Credential is required. •Valid Clear Professional Administrative Services Credential is required. •English Learner authorization or equivalent is preferred. Experience: •Five years of previous Teaching or K-12 related experience is required. •Site Principal Experience is required. •Administrative Experience in a District level position is preferred. Licenses: •Possession of a valid California Driver License and a private vehicle.
