Welcome! Our unified P-12 district serves about 4,300 students and consists of the Amador County Unified School District and the Amador County Office of Education. Our schools and communities are nestled in the heart of the Gold Country in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, close to San Francisco, Sacramento, Yosemite and Lake Tahoe. Amador County Unified School District has two comprehensive high schools, one alternative high school, two junior high schools and six elementary schools.

Valid California Administrative Services Credential BA degree; MA degree desired. Successful teaching and administrative experience required.

This position is approximately 75% Elementary School Principal (Plymouth Elementary), and 25% Jr. High Principal at the County Office of Education Shenandoah Valley School, a charter school a few blocks from the elementary school. The salary and work days will reflect the split, as the Elementary Principals are at a different level than Junior High Principals.
