A solid understanding of SEIS structure and recommended procedures.
Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 days per year, 5 consecutive days in a row if needed.
Ability to work with SEIS users of all levels including teachers, service providers, office staff, SELPA directors and other administrators.
Willingness to travel around California.

The position is for a contracted SEIS Teacher Trainer. Training groups of up to 30 new SEIS Teacher Level users in a lab environment. Sessions will be 3 ½, 4 and 6 hours. Location and facilities will vary, so the trainer must be adaptable to a variety of situations.
The trainer will work under the direction of SEIS management and will use materials provided by SEIS and follow SEIS session agendas.
All applicants will be required to complete a SEIS test.
Selected applicants will be required to attend a two day unpaid workshop in Stockton in June. NOTE: Selection for and attendance at workshops does not guarantee you will be selected as a trainer.
