The San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools office acts as an intermediate service agency between the California Department of Education and the 33 school districts in San Bernardino County to help meet the educational needs of all children county-wide. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Administrative Services Credential; • Possession of a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; • Five (5) years administrative or management experience in education at a district, cabinet, or principal level; • Experience in building partnerships with colleges, business leaders, communities, and educational institutions; • Experience working with multiple agencies towards a common goal; • Experience in managing multiple projects, grant writing, and deadlines; • Experience working with schools in CTE, ROP, or other career and occupations programs.
